Todd grew up in a small town in South Dakota with his dad Wayne, mom Sandie and sister Becky. He spent many afternoons performing re-enactments of the "Boxcar Children" with the neighborhood kids. When not solving crimes and causing mischief, he would build box and blanket forts in the basement with Becky; participate in LEGO castle-building competitions with his dad; and play piano duets and bake with his mom. The old maple trees in his grandparent's backyard offered countless hours of entertainment, as did the numerous family vacations the Mulders took--everywhere from the Grand Canyon to Disney World. And of course, there were days and days spent with his most loyal best friends: his dogs.

Today, you can still find Todd hanging out in a hammock by the giant maple tree in his backyard. Or, you might catch him adventuring near and far with his husband Dirk. At work, you'll see him sharing his passion for music with his students, and at home, you'll watch him loving on his pets...and building the occasional blanket fort. While Todd may be more on the quiet side and somewhat serious on the surface, he is truly a kid at heart and cannot wait to share in all sorts of new adventures with a child. |
